Description
The A4’s factory ECU (AEB/AJL, 1996-1998) was never built for standalone tuning. This kit replaces it with a MaxxECU unit wired straight into your existing harness — the factory connectors stay put, so there’s no cutting your original harness apart and no guessing which wire goes where.
Two configurations:
- Street Plug-in — MaxxECU STREET unit, built for daily-driven tuning
- Race Plug-in — MaxxECU RACE unit, built for boost control, launch control, shift-cut, and traction management
What’s in the kit:
- MaxxECU ECU, plug-and-play adapter harness for the AEB/AJL A4
- Built-in MAP sensor rated to 3 bar (43 psi) of boost
- Bosch LSU 4.2 wideband oxygen sensor, connector, and harness included
- USB communication cable and printed quick start guide included
